Flava Hoops is a brand founded by me, Aleya Marché. Growing up in Chicago, I loved the winter—not for the cold, but because each season brought its own unique fashion. When I moved to Los Angeles, I missed Chicago's winter fashion, especially seeing people in luxurious, stylish fur coats.  I couldn't dress like that in LA because it was never cold enough, so I made the Chi City Hoop Earring to add fur to my outfits without the extra warmth.
